WordCamp Kent Community Panel soars with the benefits of giving

"The number of seeds you plant is different from the number of seeds that grow."
WordCamp Kent Online Community Panel

WordCamps were faced with a monumental task of pivoting from an in-person event to an online event, in the true spirit of WordPress Community, each rallied to the occasion with each beginning with WordCamp San Antonio through WordCamp Kent soaring to new heights.

The Leading Ladies of WordPress

Participating in a Community Panel with two of my WordPress heroines, Michelle Frechette and Andrea Middleton, was a great way to give back and pay forward to the incredible organizing team and attendees from around the world.

Although I’ve known her name, I briefly met Andrea, Community Growth Strategist at Automattic, at WordCamp Long Beach last fall when we both spoke. Incredibly nurturing and supportive, sharing the stage with her was exciting because of the depth of knowledge and experience with our Community.

Michelle and I are both on the WordCamp US team on two different teams but we’ve never met face to face. She’s invited me to appear on her popular podcast, WPCoffeeTalk and we interact on tasks for the online event slated for the fall.
